The method
By modifying 1000 year-old yoga pose to this 100 year-old problem, Kaiut Yoga is uniquely designed to help restore what the modern body has lost.
Kaiut Yoga teaches us to be active and proactive about how our bodies move and mature, independent of our age. The methodology reframes yoga as an important health tool, generating real neurological results through what we like to call ‘Jointfulness’.
Differentials: Unlike traditional methods that focus on achieving singular, perfect postures, the Kaiut Method aims to understand the unique needs of each student, adapting positions to provide relief and results for everyone. We value function over form, focusing on tangible results backed by scientific methods.
No perfect poses, no 100 degree studios, no grueling workouts, no wondering if you even know what you’re doing, or whether your teacher knows what they’re doing. By breaking down traditional poses to meet each person’s needs, Kaiut is breaking down the barriers of modern yoga.
Humans have been around for 70,000 years. And for a good 69,900 of those years we used our bodies all day, every day. Then along came desk jobs, cars and planes. In an extremely short period we went from using our bodies all the time to virtually not at all. It’s no wonder our bodies are breaking down.
Meet the Creator Behind the Method
Too often we let the pain from our past imprison us. We simply accept our sore backs, stiff hips, and bad knees as a reality of life. Yet we don’t have to. By refusing to accept his own pain, Francisco Kaiut dedicated his life to creating a yoga tailored to each person’s past to help free the body from it.
